Founded in 1956

The K. Patel Group is a reflection of the entrepreneurial vision of its founder Mr. M. K. Patel. A dynamic person who with vision, perseverance coupled with courage set out to establish his foothold into myriad activities whose success today can be attributed to his determination to succeed.

His younger brother Mr. G. K. Patel brushed shoulders with him in his maiden foray into the construction arena and laid the concrete foundations of a 'Construction House'. As the nation progressed their enterprise was growing by leaps and bounds. The brothers traveled around the world to apprise with the ever-changing global demands, particularly of the developed nations in America, and Europe. The manufacturing sector proved to be a strategic shift and the group ventured first into the manufacture of dyestuff & pigments and later into the making of enameled copper wire & strips and then followed with herbal extractions and phytochemicals.

Manufacturing Foray

Manufacturing was emerging need of India, then. With a view to establish its foothold in the sector, K. Patel Chemopharma Private Limited. was promoted in 1974. Built upon its vast experience in the manufacture of Dyestuffs, today, the Company is an established local as well as a global supplier in the Basic Dyes, Solvent Dyes and Pigments market. A state-of-the-art multiple manufacturing facilities have been set up at Ankleshwar in the state of Gujarat in western India. A fully equipped R&D laboratory to continuously innovate and improve various products and processes supports the manufacturing facility.

Export Trade 

As an experienced dyes and chemicals producer, the group acquired skills in product development, understanding international customer needs and quality assurance practices. This gave birth to international sourcing division with Indian associate producer.

Export House

The company is a government recognized export house. It has received number of awards from Government of India, Commerce Ministry over the years for its performance in exports from India.

ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015

The group continues its earlier ISO 9000 initiatives and has upgraded to ISO 9001:2015 certifications. It meets the stringent production and customer standards laid by the ISO. As a commitment to preservation and protection of environment, it is also ISO 14001:2015 certified.

The group has very healthy Industrial Relations (IR) across all its manufacturing facilities since inception. We trust our employees as valuable members of team and pledge to treat one another with loyalty, respect and dignity. The Human Resources Development (HR) initiative takes care of Learning & Development of all staff.
